A soft, lightweight exosuit designed to assist the human bicep by providing additional elbow flexion torque. The device augments lifting capacity for daily-living and assistive tasks without the bulk and weight of rigid exoskeletons.
The project was developed at Arizona State University as part of a broader programme on soft wearables in collaboration with clinicians at the Barrow Neurological Institute.
